What SnipShorts is

SnipShorts is an online tool that turns long YouTube videos into 9:16 vertical clips, with captions, suggested titles, and an estimated viral score. You use it in the browser.

SnipShorts is operated by Leonardo Fabio Oteca, an individual based in Colombia. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use SnipShorts.

Minimum age

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your country if that is higher, to use SnipShorts.

Your account

You need an account to process videos. You can create one with an email link or with Google. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so don't share your access.

Rights to the videos

Only use videos on SnipShorts that you own or that you have permission or a license to use and cut. This also applies when you clip other streamers' or creators' content, for example for a clipping campaign. In that case you need permission from the content owner or from the campaign that authorizes you.

You choose which video you process. SnipShorts does not check whether you have those rights and is not responsible if you don't.

Your content stays yours

SnipShorts does not take ownership of your videos or of the clips you make. You give us only a limited permission to store, copy, transcribe, analyze, and edit that material for the sole purpose of providing the service. That permission ends when the content or your account is deleted, except for copies the law requires us to keep.

How you use and publish your clips

You alone are responsible for where and how you publish clips. You must follow each platform's rules (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and others) and the rules of any clipping campaign or program you join.

SnipShorts is not a party to your agreements with third-party platforms or clipping programs. We don't guarantee earnings, views, virality, clip approval, or payouts from those programs. Campaigns mentioned in the community are run and paid by third parties, under their own terms.

AI results can be wrong

Cuts, captions, titles, and the viral score are produced by an automated system. They can contain mistakes, and the score is only an estimate. Review every clip before you publish it.

Prohibited content

Don't use SnipShorts with content that infringes copyright or other third-party rights, is illegal, shows child sexual abuse, promotes violence or hate, or is harassment. Also don't upload malware, try to access other people's accounts, abuse the credit system, or inflate metrics with bots.

We can remove content and suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, without refunding credits spent on that content.

Plans and credits

One credit equals one minute of processed video. The Free plan gives 50 trial credits once, for videos up to 50 minutes. Creator (US$15 per month) gives 150 credits and Pro (US$29 per month) gives 300 credits for each 30-day period. Current plan limits are on the pricing page.

Credits from a period can only be used in that period. Unused credits don't carry over. If you upgrade mid-period, your balance for that period goes up to what the new plan gives. You can't downgrade directly: to do it, cancel and subscribe to the smaller plan when your period ends. If you cancel, you can keep using your credits until the end of the paid period.

Credits are not money, can't be transferred, and can't be exchanged for cash.

Payments and cancellation

Charges and subscriptions are processed by Whop. SnipShorts does not store your full card number. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout, in US dollars.

You can cancel anytime from your account billing page. You won't be charged again and you keep access until the paid period ends. There is no fixed-term contract. If you upgrade, the new plan is charged in full and unused time on the old plan is not refunded.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

Under article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011, you can withdraw from each payment, the first one and each renewal, within 5 business days after that payment and get a full refund.

Before paying, you check a box agreeing that the service starts immediately and that using credits ends your right of withdrawal. So if you already used any credit from the period you paid for, that payment is not refunded.

To withdraw, email leonardo@snipshorts.com from your account email. If it applies, we refund you within 30 calendar days, to the same payment method, through Whop.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content processed on SnipShorts infringes your rights, email leonardo@snipshorts.com with your contact details, the work you own, a link or details that let us find the content, and a statement that your complaint is true. We will review it and may remove the content and suspend repeat infringers.

The service is provided as is

SnipShorts is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will work without interruptions or errors, or that results will fit a specific purpose.

SnipShorts is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, accounts suspended on other platforms, or payouts not received from third parties. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid SnipShorts in the 12 months before the claim. All of this applies except for rights that Colombian law or the law of your country does not allow to be limited.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of Colombia.

We may change these terms. When a change is important, we will announce it on the site or by email before it applies. If you keep using SnipShorts after the change, you accept the new version.
